It is statutory for all enrolled students in Germany to have health insurance.

EU-exchange students: Please bring along your "European Health Insurance Card” which can be issued from your health insurance company.

Overseas students: We would advise you to subscribe a statutory health insurance with one of the health insur-ance companies in Germany (approx. Euro 56 per month). This can be done via e-mail and you will then get the confirmation from the health insurance company to support your visa application. Please e-mail us if you need to contact a German insurance company.
