General Information for Exchange Students

Hi!
Are you a student of Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems anywhere in the world and would you like to study a semester in Germany? Do you have a good command of the English language?

Sounds great! We have an interesting offer for you, even if you don't know any German and you don't have any time to learn it.

This works?

Yes! We offer IT/IS courses conducted in English.

Will these courses be recognized when I get back to my home university?

Yes! The courses offered are part of our degree programs (Bachelor, Master of Science) in Computer Science and Information Systems. We grant internationally recognized ECTS credits and grades for each course you pass.

Tuition fees?

For Exchange Students there aren't any in Germany.

Everyday life?

The International Office at our university will provide you with necessary assistance for any organizational problem (housing, immigration registration, etc.). You will also have the possibility to participate in German language courses.

Please notice: Our offer is not obligatory, as it depends on the demand. Some courses are not offered each semester, others ar not offered in English each semester. Therefore, make sure that the courses your are interested in are really offered in English during the semester you plan to stay in Germany.
